THE FRACTURE
For centuries, the clans of KURENAI lived apart, each bound to a different force: flame, storm, shadow, steel, light, frost, spirit and void. Their separation kept the world in balance. Then came the Crimson Fracture — a celestial wound that tore across the sky and awakened every sealed power at once.
The clans call it a disaster. The oldest records call it a return.
Each clan was entrusted with one seal, a relic created from the first light of the world. No clan knew the full purpose of the seals. They only knew the oldest law: never unite them. Together, the seals could either restore the world or erase it.
When the sky burned red, the seals began calling to one another. Storms crossed borders, shadows moved without bodies and forgotten machines returned to life. The clans blamed each other, but the truth was older than any of them: something beneath KURENAI had been waiting for the seals to awaken.
Eight warriors now carry the future of KURENAI. Some seek unity. Some seek revenge. Others believe the world must be destroyed before it can be reborn. Their paths will collide at the Gate of Ash, where the final seal waits and every clan must decide what it is willing to sacrifice.
THE CLAN DIVIDE
Every clan wants to save KURENAI. They simply disagree on what must be sacrificed.

They believe the seals must be united and controlled. Their promise is peace. Their danger is absolute rule.

They reject the old order and want the hidden truth exposed, even if KURENAI must burn before it can be rebuilt.
Frost
Frost refuses every alliance. It remembers the previous cycle — and knows that unity may be the trap.
Void
The Void believes KURENAI cannot be saved. It can only be ended before the force beneath it awakens completely.
